As if you needed an excuse to get dapper… Chicken Slacks a new queer soul dance Sunday March 4, 2pm - 7pm RAC Recession Art at CULTUREfix 9 Clinton St, NYC Chicken Slacks is a queer, soul celebration inspired by Hard French and our love of Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Carla Thomas, and all the music that makes us get up offa our thangs and dance! The event will be DJ’d by DJ Rugburn and special guests. Wear your Sunday Best and we’ll supply the rest. The party is free and open to the public.
