chopsbarbershop asked: How do I get on the list of approved barbers?
By being a queer-friendly barber! Bonus points if your place is queer-friendly as well.
Anonymous asked: "Con the Hairdresser" on Enmore road [Enmore, Sydney, Australia] is pretty great. Con and Alex both do a good job, very standard cuts and at fifteen bucks is one of the most affordable barbers around. The other clients can be a little funny but there are plenty of pictures of Mariah on the wall to make up for them.
Do you by any chance have a phone number for them? All I can find is an address on Foursquare.. Thanks!
malinkibear asked: If you list barbers in the UK too, Phillip Jon of 'Phillip Jon's Unisex Hairdressing Salon' in Leeds is great. very relaxed and friendly guy, never batted an eyelid at what I want or who I am, and does my hair great. He's in the Hyde Park area.
Yes, I have a couple listed. Accepting barbers/hair stylists from everywhere!
onehellofaboy asked: I realize it's a long shot but could you ask around for friendly barbers in Indiana? I'm a trans guy but the local places won't touch "women's hair" so my boyfriend has been buzzing my hair for me. He's a sweetheart and all but it's not exactly what I want for my hair. I'm hoping there's a place in Indianapolis and I can make the drive. (That you're putting this list together is AMAZINGLY AWESOME. Thank you, thank you, thank you!)
Thanks ;) Hopefully someone knows a place??
therapsida asked: Does anyone know of queer-friendly-ish barbers in New Jersey? I don't even know where to go to look :<
Anonymous asked: Milios Hair Salon in Chicago is great! I went there after getting repeatedly disappointing short hair cuts from hairdressers that couldn't seem to understand that I actually wanted a masculine cut. But Milios gave me exactly the androgynous cut I wanted, and with no judgement at all!
