Anonymous asked: Hi, If i want to submit to your blog, how do i do that?
chopsbarbershop asked: How do I get on the list of approved barbers?
Anonymous asked: "Con the Hairdresser" on Enmore road [Enmore, Sydney, Australia] is pretty great. Con and Alex both do a good job, very standard cuts and at fifteen bucks is one of the most affordable barbers around. The other clients can be a little funny but there are plenty of pictures of Mariah on the wall to make up for them.
malinkibear asked: If you list barbers in the UK too, Phillip Jon of 'Phillip Jon's Unisex Hairdressing Salon' in Leeds is great. very relaxed and friendly guy, never batted an eyelid at what I want or who I am, and does my hair great. He's in the Hyde Park area.
onehellofaboy asked: I realize it's a long shot but could you ask around for friendly barbers in Indiana? I'm a trans guy but the local places won't touch "women's hair" so my boyfriend has been buzzing my hair for me. He's a sweetheart and all but it's not exactly what I want for my hair. I'm hoping there's a place in Indianapolis and I can make the drive. (That...
therapsida asked: Does anyone know of queer-friendly-ish barbers in New Jersey? I don't even know where to go to look :<
Anonymous asked: Milios Hair Salon in Chicago is great! I went there after getting repeatedly disappointing short hair cuts from hairdressers that couldn't seem to understand that I actually wanted a masculine cut. But Milios gave me exactly the androgynous cut I wanted, and with no judgement at all!

Anonymous asked: Are you compiling a list of queer-friendly hair stylists? If it's a far reaching list, Robyn at FISH in Victoria BC, Canada is fantastic.
thebreathbefore asked: Well then! Haha. Bubbles Salon in Virginia Beach :) All of our stylists are awesome, but I've seen Brandy and Cameron do some really impressive short cuts on girls.
thebreathbefore asked: Do they need to be barbers? I work at a hair salon and some of our stylists can rock out some short cuts.
RE: Anon That’s what I get for trying to read something and watch something at the same time. Sorry, I should’ve caught that before I answered. And no you’re not being nitpicky at all! I’m really glad you caught that!
Anonymous asked: actually, what that barbershop tumblr asked -wasn't- really right. they said "diversity in sexual orientation including trans-sexual individuals" but transsexual isn't a sexual orientation, it's a gender identity/related to gender. just being nitpicky.
vintagebarbershop asked: Hey there! I maintain a blog devoted mostly to classic barbering. I'd love to publish your barbershop list there but just want to be sure I've got it right. I'd say this: "The list has shops that are open to diversity in sexual orientation including trans-sexual individuals." Did I get it right?
Please check out the Barber Shop list on our blog! & if you know any that havent been listed already please submit!
